The drills will still be manufactured from M2 High Speed Steel which is the highest grade for drills. Each drill is made with precision ground flutes and is ground now for industry with a 135° cutting point. The larger cutting point angle will improve the cutting in steel allowing for greater dispersion of heat away from the the centre of the drill. The drills are ground with a split point which has the benefit of reducing the material at the point, allowing the drill to cut easily with out a pilot drill. It also reduces the drill wandering
