The Scheppach os-58 Oscillating Vertical Bobbin Sander (Order Code: W843) is a clever choice when sanding deep and wide work pieces, front edges, narrow inner curves, as well as horizontally, vertically, diagonally, with or across the grain.

It’s driven by a 450W (⅔Hp) 240V motor that provides ample power for most applications. The action of the sanding spindle rotating at 2000rpm and oscillating at 58 times per minute ensures exceptional finishing results. A bobbin oscillation stroke of 16mm acts to spread the workload evenly across sandpaper sleeves.

Scheppach’s os-58 model sander comes complete with sanding sleeves (1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2", 2" and 3" of 80-grit), which fit directly onto the Ø12.7mm spindle shaft using the included sleeve spanner.

The 370 x 290mm table sits at a height of 33mm and is made from heavy-duty cast iron to provide a hard-wearing work surface for greater stability, accuracy and durability. As part of the package, the bobbin sander is supplied with 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2", 2" and 3" table inserts.

A 40mm dust collection port allows connection to dust extractor equipment for a cleaner, safer working environment.
