In The Shed: HAFCO DB-32 Electric Tube Bender

As a versatile, powerful and portable tube-bending system for site use or pre-fabrication of pre-set angles, the HAFCO DB-32 Electric Tube Bender (order code: T070) tackles universal applications, such as plumbing, heating, refrigeration, air conditioning and general industry.

Featuring a patented low-friction guide shoe, the HAFCO DB-32 is ideal for use on tubes of the following material types: steel, copper, plastic-coated copper, coated soft steel and aluminium.

It comes complete with five round tube formers included, featuring the following capacities:
• 5/8" (68mm centre line radius), 3/4" (80mm centre line radius), 7/8" (92mm centre line radius), 1" (103mm centre line radius) for 2mm mild steel tube wall thickness and 1.6mm stainless steel tube wall thickness.
• 1-1/4" (130mm centre line radius) for 1.6mm mild steel tube wall thickness and 1.2mm stainless steel tube wall thickness.

The DB-32 includes a digital readout display for dialling in the bend angle required for repetitive bends, which can be set from anywhere between 0 and 180°. This is done via the bend angle setting dial and is complemented by an automatic stop feature at the pre-selected angle.

It’s propelled by a 1.7kW (2.3Hp) 240V motor with forward/reverse switch as well as high reduction transmission for increased torque. Equipped with a three-leg stand and plastic carry case, the HAFCO DB-32 Electric Tube Bender is ready to go to work.
